The proud owners, Cory and Jessica Nelson have lived and worked in town for 12 years…you might recognize them from the popular restaurant The Zion Pizza and Noodle where they’ve worked solely for 11 years and managed for 8. The two have now branched out to create their own restaurant focusing on great food with warm and friendly ambience where happy campers, families and adventurers alike can dine at a leisurely pace and experience the aromas and tastes of their savory comfort food. Jessie’s Bar and Grill serves old recipes with a twist. Vibrant and artfully prepared the menu features favorites such as homemade macaroni and cheese, grilled meats, twice baked potatoes and fresh BBQ’d corn on the cob. The chef’s other inspired creations include an alfredo chicken lasagna, white cheddar and heirloom tomato stuffed chicken breast with three cheese tortellini in a rosemary cream sauce, chipotle meatloaf, gourmet burgers, and a beef smoked sausage dish with sweet bell peppers and red onions served over cornbread with a roasted red pepper sauce. Kids will be happy to see a familiar menu with burgers and fries, sandwiches, creamy mashed potatoes, chicken nuggets, or just good ole noodles and butter. The goal is to please the palettes of both the young and old in a casual elegant atmosphere.
